  • Type locality: PERU: Dept. Loreto, Campamento San Jacinto, 2°18’75’’N, 75°51’77’’W, 175-215m.
  • Holotype: KSEM, ♂, 3.VII.1993, R. Leschen #13.
  • Etymology: The name refers to the special characters of the pronotum, "foraminosus" (Lat. = full of holes).
