- Holotype: BMNH, DHJPAR0028775, 04-SRNP-34368, ♀, 8.viii.2004, C. Moraga.
- Etymology: This species is named after Paul E. Hanson, in recognition of his contribution to the understanding of ACG Hymenoptera taxonomy.
