Holotype: ZSM 68/2016, adult ♂.

Type locality: “Ampotsidy (14.41949°S, 48.71938°E, 1340 m a.s.l.), roughly 15 km north of Bealanana in the Bealanana District, Sofia Region, northern Madagascar.”
