Holotype: CNMA 23439, adult ♂, skin, skull and partial skeleton, and phalus in fluid.
Type locality: “México, Estado México, Município Jilotepec, Dexcaní Alto, 2 km E and 3.5 km S Jilotepec, Cañada de la Ermita, 2570 m; 19º56′N, 99º30′W.”
