Name

  • Hemidactylus principensis Miller, Sellas & Drewes, 2012
Holotype: CAS 219212, an adult male collected on a tree trunk. Collected by R.E. Stoelting.
Type locality: Beach below Sao Joaquim, Príncipe Island,Republic of São Tome and Príncipe (1°37’19.87’’N, 7°22’13.10’’E).
Etymology: Named for the Island of Príncipe of the Republic of São Tome e Príncipe, to which it is endemic.
