- Holotype: WAM R23350, adult ♀, collected by L.A. Smith on 28 October 1964.
- Type locality: “9 miles N. of Kalanning, Western Australia, in Lat. 33 deg. 22 min. S., Long. 117 deg. 32 min. E”.
