Name

Iodotropheus sprengerae Oliver & Loiselle, 1972

Neotype: PSU 2721. Former holotype: BMNH 1971.9.8.5. [Paratypes: BMNH 1971.9.8.6-8 (3); USNM 207012 (1, now 0), 207013-15 (1, 1 now 0, 1)].

Type locality: Lake Malawi [Lake Nyasa], southeastern Africa.
