Type host: Abrocoma murrayi Wolffsohn, 1916 (= Abrocoma bennettii Waterhouse, 1837)
Type locality: Vallenar (28°340S; 70°450W), Región de Atacama, Chile.
Holotype: male (lost)
Type depository: neotype stored in the USNTC (Guglielmone et al., 2010)
Status: valid species according to Horak et al. (2002)
