Name

Jamides cyta zelea (Fruhstorfer, 1915).

Type locality: Indonesia, Sulawesi.

Holotype: ♂ BMNH .

Synonymy

  • Lampides amphissa zelea Fruhstorfer, 1915: 28.
  • Lampides cyta zelia [sic] Fruhstorfer; Seitz, [1925]
  • Jamides cyta zelia [sic] Fruhstorfer; Vane-Wright & de Jong, 2003:149.

[Note: Some authors have considered zelea to be synonymous with amphissa, but the hindwing underside sub-tornal orange markings are consistently much reduced in zelea compared with amphissa.]
