Labroides pectoralis Randall & Springer, 1975

Holotype: BPBM 7245. [Paratypes: AMS I.18466-001 (1); BMNH 1974.9.27.33-38 (6); BPBM 6543 (1), 9370 (2), 9895 (1), 15582 (1), 15838 (1), 18386 (1), 18851 (1); CAS 33600 (1); SMBL 74014 (1) [not seen at FAKU]; USNM 209880 (2)].

Type locality: Reef about 1 mile southeast of Auluptagel Island, Palau Islands, Philippine Sea, depth 6-10 feet.
