Holotype: AMNH 158202, adult ♀, skin and skull.
Type locality: “‘‘Number 2 Camp’’, labeled ‘‘Middle Camp’’ on skin tags, 1370 m, north slopes of Mount Dayman, 09º49'S, 149º16'E, in the Maneau Range (also spelled ‘‘Maneao’’), at eastern end of the Owen Stanley Mountains, Milne Bay Province, eastern Papua New Guinea.”
