Holotype: NMW 23492, ♀, collected by Alfred Weidholz, between 1938–1939.
Type locality: “Poli, Département de Faro, région du Nord, Cameroun (8º27’16.4” N, 13º15’33.7” E, elevation 525 m)”.

- Typhlops weidholzi Weidholz, 1941 [nomen nudum by Wallach & Gemel (2018: 30)]
