Note: : Greuter (2003) wrongly synonymised Leuzea under Rhaponticum Vaill. an invalid name therefore his treatment for Euro+Med can be considered invalid and so all combinations affected are best treated as species of Leuzea the next available legitimate name (Hind, 2019). This is a taxonomic opinion and WS can not not take sides.
