Type locality: Doi Inthanon, 1,700m alt. between Maeo Khun Klang and Mae Chaem, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Holotype: NSMT. male ♂. 06.IX.1987. legit T. Yamasaki and H. Ono. NSMT-Ar 1894-1900.
