Name

Luciosoma bleekeri Steindachner, 1878

Type locality: Meinam River near Bangkok, Thailand.

Syntypes: (several) NMW 50799 (4).

Etymology: Named after Pieter Bleeker, who contributed much to the knowledge of Southeast Asian ichthyology.
