Type locality: Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
Distribution: Bahamas. Caribbean: Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Martinique, Barbados, Panamá, Colombia, Belize. Guyana. Brazil: North to North East Regions (Amapa, Maranhão, Rio Grande do Norte and Sergipe states).
