Name

Noideattella fantara Álvarez-Padilla, Ubick & Griswold, 2012: 49, figs. 231-256

Holotype: CASC (PBI_OON 00036162), ♂.

Type locality: Berlese and sifted leaf litter of a spiny forest/thicket at an elevation of 150 m at Parc National d’Andohahela, Forêt de Manantalinjo, 33.6 km 63° ENE Amboasary, 7.6 km 99° E Hazofotsy, 24°49′1″S 46° 36′36″E, Toliara Province, 12–16 January 2002, Fisher-Griswold Arthropod Team.

Etymology: Taken for the Malagasy word for falling star.
