Name

Nuchequula glenysae Kimura et al., 2008

  • Holotype: CSIRO A 2444.
  • Paratypes: Many at CSIRO; FRLM 14520 (1).

Type locality: Gulf of Carpentaria, east of Wellesley Island, Queensland, Australia, 16°47'S, 139°51'E.

Etymology: named for Ms. Glenys Jones, who carried out the revisionary work of Australian leiognathid fishes.
