- Type locality: “'Loreto, Upper Rio Napo' (= Loreto region, near the town of Loreto) (ca. 77º20´ S, 00º40´ W, ca. 500 m elevation), lower slopes of the Sumaco Volcano, on the Cordillera Oriental, eastern slopes of the Andes, Provincia de Orellana, República del Ecuador”.
