Ocalea socialis (Broun, 1880; Gyrophaena)

Lectotype male, designated by Klimaszewski et al. (2003: 122): NHM. Paralectotypes: 1 females, 1 unsexed (NHM).

Type locality: Tairua, Coromandel Peninsula, North Island, New Zealand.
