Oregonichthys kalawatseti Markle et al., 1991

  • Paratypes: CAS 68130 (3); LACM 44850-1 (2); OS 9613 (1), 12078 (2), 12444-48 (2, 3, 6, 3, 2); UMMZ 216010 (2); USNM 306791 (3).

Type locality: Elk Creek at end of Schad Road, tributary to Umpqua River, Douglas County, Oregon, U.S.A.

Etymology: The species is namend after the Kalawatset people, who used to live in Oregon. For details see the ETYFish Project .
