Note: Sensu Ornithogaleae J.C.Manning & Goldblatt, Taxon 58(1): 99. (2009). Martínez-Azorín et al. (2011) proposed dismantling the larger genera Albuca and Ornithogalum into smaller segregates and have made the necessary adjustments in subsequent papers, but WS holds to a wider circumscription of these genera for now (Stevens et al. 2019).
