- Holotype: SZMN: SZM 001.3721.
- Type locality: Tajikistan, Dzhirgatal, 39°13´N 71°12´E, 1800 m, 3.08.1977 (collector unknown).
- Etymology: This species is named after the author's friend and colleague Paolo Pantini (Italy) who has made important contributions to spider taxonomy.
