- Holotype: ZMMU.
- Type locality: Kyrgyzstan, Inner Tien-Shang, Kokirim Mountain Range, Kaindy (41°37´15´´N 75°9´3´´E), 3.07.199? (S.V. Ovtchinnikov).
- Etymology: This species is named after the author's friend and colleague Sergei L. Zonstein (Israel) who has made important contributions to studies of Middle Asian spiders.
