Name

Phylloicus passulatus Prather, 2003

Type locality: Venezuela, Amazonas, Puerto Ayacucho, 40 km S El Tobogán, Caño Coromoto.

Holotype: NMNH. male. 24.I.1989. Spangler, Faitoute & Barr.

Etymology

Passulatus, from the Latin passula, "raisin", and latus "carry or bear", for the sclerotized lobe of the coremata, which resembles a raisin.
