Platycypris baueri Herbst, 1957

  • Type locality: From the littoral zone of Lake Alexandrina, (35°25'S, 139°07'E), South Australia, Australia.
    • Remarks: The animals were raised in the laboratory of the Max Planck Institute at Wilhelmshaven, Germany, from dried mud containing ostracod eggs.
