Holotype: SMF 21157. Paratypes: IBUNAM-P 2798 (2), 2799 (orig. 7); UANL 10211 [ex IBUNAM P-2799] (2); SMF 21158 (now 7).
Type locality: Río de la Palma, about 10 kilometersnorth-northwest of Sontecomapan, 25 kilometersnorth-northeast of Lake Catemaco, Veracruz, Mexico.
