- Type locality: SOUTH AFRICA: KwaZulu-Natal: Cathedral Peak [28°57'S 29°12'E].
- Etymology: Named in honour of two of South Africa’s foremost dipterists: Brian Roy Stuckenberg and Pamela Stuckenberg (née Usher).
