Notes
- Riccardoella was erected by Berlese, 1923 as subgenus of Micrereunetes and characterized by triarticulate palps.
- The subgenus was raised to full genus rank by Thor (1929).
- Fain & Van Goethem (1986) divided the genus Riccardoella into two subgenera, the nominal subgenus with a single species (R. limacum) and Proriccardoella with 3 species.
