Type locality: Middle area of Shirasegawa River, Gushikawa-son, Kumejima Is., Ryukyu islands, Okinawa Pref., SW Japan

Holotype ♂: NSMT -Ar 3464 (23-XII-1994, adult on 26-X-1995, K. Sasaki leg.)

Allotype ♀: NSMT-Ar 3465 (same as for the holotype)
