Name

Schizothorax leukus Yang et al., 2013

Type locality: China, Irrawaddy River at Dayingjiang, Tengchong Monkey Bridge, Binglangjiang .

Etymology: The specific epithet is derived from the Greek leukos (= white), for the relatively white belly of the fish.
