- Holotype: KIZ 2002091001.
- Paratypes: KIZ 2002091002-07 (6).
- Type locality: A'gang town, subterranean river, ca. 25°01'N, 103°59'E , Luoping County, Yunnan Province, China.
- Etymology: the species name is an example of "fake Latin". The species is named from the top of the horn-like bony protuberance on its head, which is forked, its authors say, like a Chinese roof tile (see: The ETYFish Project).
