Type locality: Mt. Tianping, Sangzhi Co., 110°20′E, 29°25′N, Hunan Province, China.
Holotype: HNU. male ♂. 21.VIII.1984. J. F. Wang & Y. J. Zhang.
Note:
Original description is Heteropoda companacea.
