Name

Holotype: USNM 361881, adult ♂, skin and skull.

Type locality: “6 mi. NE Roseau (1000 ft), St. Paul Parish, Dominica, Windward Islands, West Indies”.

Taxonomic note: described as species, reduced to subspecies of Sturnira lilium by Jones & Phillips (1976: 10) and restaured to species status by Velazco & Patterson, (2013: 694).
