- Holotype: FMNH 257902, adult ♀, collected by B.L. Stuart and H.F. Heatwole on 23 October 1999.
- Type locality: “Phou Dendin National Biodiversity Conservation Area, Phongsaly District, Phongsaly Province, Laos, 22°05′44″N 102°08′10″E, at 600 m elevation”.
