Lectotype: ZMB 1434, adult indet. [designated by Orejas-Miranda (1967)]
Type locality: “Caracas and Puerto Cabello, Venezuela”; restricted to Puerto Cabello (1025'23 N, 6800'45 W), Carabobo State, Venezuela by Orejas-Miranda (1967).
