Type locality: Borneo, W Sabah, Kinabalu National park, Poring Hot Springs, in canopy of primary dipterocarp forest, 600 m. 6°5'N, 1 60°33'E.

Holotype: RMNH. male ♂. 1992. legit A. Floren.
