Name

Yezocythere hayashii Hanai & Ikeya, 1991

• Type locality: Location Hayashi-818a, northern entrance of the Kuromatsunai Tunnel of JR Hakodate Main Line, south of Kuromatsunai, (42°38'39"N, 140°18'29"E), Suttsu-gun, Hokkaido, Japan.
• Type horizon: Setana Formation, Lower Pleistocene, Quaternary, Cenozoic.
• Remarks: Recent specimens from a water depth of 31 metres at station M-10, (41°03.0'N, 141°12.1'E), 5 km SE of Mutsuyokohama, Mutsu Bay, Aomori Prefecture, Japan.
