  1. madness, insanity (abnormal mental state characterized by mental processes going the wrong way, not reflecting reality)
    ārprāta lēkmean attack of insanity

    ārprāta pārņemts cilvēksa person consumed by madness
    kliegt kā ārprātāto scream as if in madness (i.e., like a madman)
