צ־ד־ק |
From the root צ־ד־ק (TZ-d-q). The verb is in the pa`al conjugation. The planet is named after the Phoenician god Sydyk, whom the Romans equated with the god Jupiter. Thus, it is a calque of sorts of the Roman name for the planet.
