ت (t) distinguished by a point, written with that sign before the invention of such points (in rasm) because the scribes understood that Arabic /θ/ is represented in Nabataean words that are by their lineage related to the Arabic words that have /θ/ in them by /t/ written by the Nabataean 𐢞 (t), from which the Arabic ت (t) for /t/ descends.
