Etymology
ط (ṭ) distinguished by a point, written with that sign before the invention of such points (in rasm) because the scribes understood that Arabic /ðˁ/ is represented in Nabataean words that are by their lineage related to the Arabic words that have /ðˁ/ in them by /tˁ/ written by the Nabataean 𐢋 (ṭ), from which the Arabic ط (ṭ) for /tˁ/ descends.
