From Pali sucarita, from su (“good; well”) + carita (“practice; performance; conduct; deed”); or from Sanskrit सुचरित (sucarita), from सु (su, “'idem”) + चरित (carita, “idem”); equivalent to Thai สุ (sù) + จริต (jà-rìt).
