Etymology
From Middle Persian 𐭫𐭥𐭩𐭱𐭤 (LOYŠE /sar/). The same Iranian word is found in wholly-borrowed կախարդասար (kaxardasar) and in Մանկասար (Mankasar).

Not attested outside its compounds.
