intsau

Tocharian B

Etymology

Uncertain. Possibly from Proto-Indo-European *h₂eydʰ- (to ignite, fire), which would make it cognate with Latin aethēr (heaven, sky), Sanskrit एध (edha, fuel) and Old English āl (fire).

Noun

intsau

  1. block of wood
