Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder age of diagnosis

Half of children with ADHD are diagnosed by age six.
However, children with more severe ADHD tend to be diagnosed earlier, about half of them by the age of 4.
*These reports are from a survey of parents of children 4-17 years of age.
