Subject: National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Announcement of a Respirator Certification Process Workshop to be held on June 26, 2003
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL) will be holding a Respirator Certification Process Workshop on June 26, 2003, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Southpointe, 1000 Corporate Drive, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.
The intent of the workshop is to discuss the respirator certification process and to explore ideas and concepts for improving the process. Some possible areas of improvement considered will be:
- Standard Application Content
- Documentation
- Drawings
- Drawing Requirements
- Labels and Markings
- Test Equipment Provided with Application
The goal of the workshop is to improve certification processing time.
Interested parties should make hotel reservations directly with the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Southpointe (724-743-5000 or 1-800-HILTON) before the cut-off date of June 16, 2003. A group rate of $55 per night has been negotiated for meeting guests. You must reference the NIOSH/NPPTL Workshop to receive this special rate.
