Subject: Meeting for all respirator manufacturers to be held on December 14, 2004
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL), Respirator Branch, is announcing a meeting for all respirator manufacturers to be held on December 14, 2004, at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel, 7 Station Square Drive, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. An agenda is being developed and will be posted on the NPPTL web site (http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/npptl/) in the near future. The meeting will start at 11:00 a.m. Topics to be addressed include new NPPTL and Respirator Branch organizational structures, availability of revised Standard Application Procedures for comment, and concepts for Respirator Branch process and procedure changes.
All manufacturer representatives, manufacturer application preparers, and other interested parties are welcome to attend.
Interested parties should make hotel reservations directly with the Sheraton Station Square (412/261-2000 / 1-888-325-3535) before the cut-off date of November 30, 2004. You must reference the NIOSH/NPPTL Meeting to receive the special group rate of $85 per night. Driving directions to the hotel are enclosed.
