When you're browsing your Discovery or Standouts tab on Hinge, you may find the profile of a friend or ex you want to avoid in the app. Want to prevent that person from contacting you? This wikiHow will teach you how to remove and block someone on Hinge before matching with them.
Steps
-
1Open Hinge. The app's icon looks like a capital "H" on a white background that you'll find on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching.
-
2Tap the H tab. It's the "Discovery" or "Standouts" tab where you'll see individual profiles that you can potentially match with.Advertisement
-
3Tap ⋮. This three-dot menu icon is in the top right corner of their profile tile.
-
4Tap Remove. It's usually the first option in the menu.
-
5Select a reason for removing that person. Your reason is private and will not be shared with the other person.
- Once you select a reason, you'll see a small "X" animation that shows the remove has been submitted. That person will also not see you and you won't see their profile again.[1]
