Things You Should Know

  • Look for signs like sustained eye contact and dilated pupils. Typically, this means that someone has feelings for you.
  • Watch for subconscious grooming, like when he touches his hair or fixes his tie.
  • Pay attention to whether or not he mirrors your own body language. If he’s avoiding eye contact or crossing his arms, then he may not be ready to start a relationship.
  • Follow his body language if he's driving you crazy. If he’s sitting close to you, he may be getting his flirt on with someone else.
  • The way he moves his lips when he talks indicates that he’s feeling a certain way. While it doesn’t mean you have to give him the time of day, take note of his pace and how he lingers on certain words.
  • By raising his eyebrows, he’s communicating interest. Watch out for someone who hesitates or shakes his head too frequently.
